The Diplomat Aero Factory is an anodized aluminum capped rollerball pen with a raw, industrial-looking silver finish. The metal is left unpolished, so the Aero's deep lengthwise grooves and tapered, Zeppelin-inspired profile read as workshop-technical rather than jewel-like. This is a pen that shows its material directly.
As a rollerball, it takes a standard international capped rollerball refill, which gives you a broad selection when it comes time to replace it. The cap closes with a soft sliding click.
