The Midnight Blue Aero has an anodized aluminum body with deep lengthwise grooves running along the barrel. The finish is a dark navy with a subdued metallic cast: it reads nearly black at a distance, and the raised ribs bring out cooler blue highlights when the light catches them.
This is a capped rollerball pen. The cap closes with a soft sliding click. It takes a standard international capped rollerball refill when the time comes to replace it.
