The Rhomb Chrome pen has an anodized aluminum body covered in an all-over diamond pattern that replaces the lengthwise grooves of the standard Aero finishes. The fully polished surface reflects light across every intersecting cut, giving it a bright, highly reflective look with strong visual depth.
This is a capped rollerball. The cap closes with a soft sliding click. It takes a standard international capped rollerball refill, and Yafa Brands stocks replacements directly as the exclusive North American distributor for Diplomat.

What does the surface of this pen look like?
The Rhomb Chrome pen has an anodized aluminum body covered in an all-over rhomb, or diamond, pattern. That pattern runs across the entire body rather than the lengthwise grooves used on other Aero finishes. The result is a uniform geometric texture across the surface.
What refill does this pen take, and what can I order when I need a replacement?
The pen takes a standard international capped rollerball refill. When the refill runs low, Yafa stocks two compatible replacements: the Schmidt 888 safety ceramic rollerball refill and the Schmidt 5888 safety ceramic rollerball refill. Order whichever suits your preference.
Where is this pen made, and what warranty does it carry?
The Diplomat Aero Rhomb Chrome Rollerball is made in Germany at Diplomat's production site in Cunewalde, Saxony. Diplomat has produced writing instruments in Germany since 1922. The pen carries a five-year manufacturer warranty.
