The Dark Blue Esteem has a deep navy finish over a slim metal body with softly rounded ends. The color reads as one unbroken field across the surface, giving the pen a professional look that sits between black and a bolder blue.
This is a ballpoint: a click of the button extends the tip for writing, and a second click retracts it. The pen takes a Parker-style G2 ballpoint refill when a replacement is needed.
