The Viper Blue has an anodized aluminum body covered in a fine, scale-like guilloche texture. The saturated blue finish settles darker inside the engraving, and the dark trim keeps attention on that surface pattern.
The hooded stainless steel nib writes at a fine-to-medium width. The pen takes standard international ink cartridges and accepts a Viper-specific Diplomat converter for bottled ink.

What comes in the box with the Viper fountain pen?
The Viper fountain pen ships in a cardboard box with a converter and a warranty card. The converter is specific to the Viper and lets you draw ink directly from a bottle. If you prefer cartridges, the pen also accepts standard international ink cartridges. Diplomat bottled ink is available from Yafa to use with the converter.
What ink can I use when the refill runs low?
The Viper fountain pen accepts standard international ink cartridges and also works with its included Viper-specific converter for bottled ink. Yafa stocks Diplomat bottled ink in 30 ml bottles, which works directly with the converter. When ordering a replacement converter, note that the Viper takes its own converter model, not the standard Diplomat converter used on other lines.
