The Hippocratica pen is turned from solid black resin and fitted with a translucent burgundy-red section, narrow red accent rings, and a broad cap band inscribed HIPPOCRATICA in a Greek-key meander pattern. The clip is solid 925 sterling silver, cast by the ancient lost-wax method, and replicates the Rod of Asclepius. The remaining fittings are plated with palladium.
This is a fountain pen taking standard international ink cartridges, with a converter already fitted in the pen. The steel nib carries the Rod of Asclepius on its face.

What filling system does the Hippocratica fountain pen use, and what ink will it take?
The Hippocratica takes standard international ink cartridges and ships with the converter already fitted inside the pen, so you can use bottled ink straight away. When you need a replacement cartridge, Yafa stocks Private Reserve international-size ink cartridges. For bottled ink, Yafa also carries Private Reserve fountain pen ink, which works with the fitted converter.
