The Racing colourway pairs matte black resin with ruthenium-plated trim and a center band of solid 925 sterling silver also plated with ruthenium. That band carries a checkered geometric decoration with narrow polished borders, set off by red accents, while a dark metal nose cone completes the look.
This is the ballpoint version of the Ogiva Racing. Rotating the barrel extends and retracts the writing tip. The pen takes Parker-style G2 ballpoint refills.

The Ogiva Racing ballpoint uses a twist mechanism: rotating the barrel extends the writing tip, and rotating it back retracts the tip. The barrel turns in both directions to control the point.
