The fountain pen has a solid 14K gold nib made by JoWo. It uses a cartridge and converter filling system and takes standard international ink cartridges or a converter. A removable weight sits in the cone at the end of the barrel: with it in place the balance shifts toward the back of the pen, and with it removed the balance moves toward the nib. The pen carries a limited lifetime warranty.
