Nera gives the Ultra Ogiva shape a deep, glossy black finish in a single even tone. Palladium-tone trim adds a cool, bright contrast. Each pen carries its own individual number.
The rollerball writes from a ready-to-use refill that you swap when it runs low. It takes standard international capped rollerball refills, and the cap threads closed and posts on the back of the barrel.

What writing mechanism does this pen use, and how does the cap work?
The Nera/Palladium is a capped rollerball. The cap threads closed and posts on the back of the barrel, so the pen is secured when you are not writing and the cap is out of the way when you are. The refill is ready to use as soon as the cap is off — there is no twist mechanism or click button to engage.
When the refill runs low, what replaces it and where do I order one?
The pen takes standard international capped rollerball refills. When you need a replacement, Yafa stocks the Schmidt 888 Safety Ceramic Rollerball Refill (SC58111), which is a confirmed compatible replacement for this pen.
Is this pen part of a limited edition, and does it carry a serial number?
Each pen carries its own individual number, but no production ceiling has been published for the Nera finish. Maiora has not announced a maximum for any Ultra Ogiva Golden Age 2.0 colourway, so the Nera pen is numbered but not documented as a limited edition.
