Golden Rule uses a resin made by Jonathon Brooks, with ruby red layered through black and bronze-gold and fine gold dust suspended in the material. The gold catches the light as the pen turns, and every body carries its own pattern. Trim is 24K gold-plated, and each pen carries its own individual number.
The rollerball writes from a ready-to-use refill that you swap when it runs low. It takes standard international capped rollerball refills, and the cap threads closed and posts on the back of the barrel.
