The Diplomat Aero Black has an anodized aluminum body with deep lengthwise grooves running along the barrel. The uniform dark finish draws attention to the silhouette and surface texture rather than to color, with subtle shifts in reflection defining the grooves, edges, and trim.
This is a ballpoint pen. Rotating the barrel extends and retracts the writing tip. It takes a Parker-style G2 ballpoint refill.
