The Black Forest Aero has an anodized aluminum body. Its Zeppelin-inspired profile is lined with deep lengthwise grooves running the length of the barrel and cap, and the dark green finish reads differently along the raised groove edges and under direct light than it does in shadow. Black accents keep the overall palette close and quiet.
This is a capped ballpoint. The cap closes with a soft sliding click. The pen takes a Parker-style G2 ballpoint refill.
