The Diplomat Aero Green has an anodized aluminum body with a medium-green metallic finish. The color sits brighter along the ridges and gathers darker inside the lengthwise grooves, so the sculpted surface reads differently depending on the light.
This is a ballpoint pen. Rotating the barrel extends and retracts the writing tip. It takes a Parker-style G2 ballpoint refill when replacement time comes.
