Instructions for Use of the Fountain Pen

FOUNTAIN PEN WITH CONVERTER FILLING

1. Remove the cap and unscrew the barrel from the nib section.
2. Insert the converter into the nib section by twisting and pushing it fully in.
3. Turn the converter knob to move the piston towards the nib.
4. Completely immerse the nib in the ink and turn the converter back to its initial position.
5. Release 3-4 drops of ink.
6. Dry with a lint-free soft cloth and screw the nib section back onto the pen.

Always close the pen with its cap after use. For optimal performance of the fountain pen, periodic cleaning of the nib without the cartridge is necessary. Soak it in lukewarm or cold water for about 12 hours and rinse thoroughly.

Fountain Pen with Cartridge Filling

1. Remove the cap and unscrew the barrel from the nib section.
2. Insert the cartridge into the nib section by twisting and pushing until it clicks.
3. Gently press the cartridge to release 3 or 4 drops of ink.
4. When the model allows, insert the spare cartridge into the barrel (wide part in the center).
5. Screw the nib section back on and ensure that the ink flow has reached the nib tip before writing.

History of Pineider

Francesco Pineider, with his passion for craftsmanship, laid the foundations for a story that would span centuries. In 1774, he left his native Val Gardena to open a Stationery and Printing shop in Florence. Located in the prestigious Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence, the shop attracted artists, intellectuals, and nobility thanks to the exceptional quality of its products.

Over the years, Pineider became synonymous with elegance and refinement. Its stationery, wedding invitations, stamps, and fountain pens were appreciated not only in Italy but worldwide. However, Pineider's history was not without challenges. In November 1966, the Arno River flooded Florence, destroying much of the invaluable historical archive of the workshop.
