The Bio+16 Nera is deep black with gold-plated trim. It is hand-turned from a 100% organic, protein-based material that is entirely plastic-free. It is handcrafted in Naples, Italy.
The nib is made by JoWo, with a choice of stainless steel in eight widths, #6 14K gold in seven widths, or oversized #8 14K gold in four widths. It fills directly from bottled ink with a piston filling system, and a clear ink window shows the ink level. The pen carries a limited lifetime warranty.
