The Evergreen Aero has an anodized aluminum body. Its deep forest-green finish appears almost black in shade and reads more distinctly green in direct light, letting the Aero's lengthwise grooves show without making the pen look bright.
This is a fountain pen. It takes standard international ink cartridges, and a Diplomat plunger converter is available for use with bottled ink. The stainless steel nib comes in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad.

What is the body of the Aero Evergreen made from?
The Diplomat Aero Evergreen has an anodized aluminum body. The barrel also has a grooved surface, and the cap closes with a soft sliding click. The aluminum construction keeps the pen light without affecting the ink-filling mechanism, which takes both standard international ink cartridges and the included converter.
