The Orange Aero has an anodized aluminum body with deep lengthwise grooves running the length of the barrel and cap. The finish shifts from bright tangerine on the raised surfaces to a deeper burnt orange inside the grooves, giving the pen a vivid, energetic presence that changes with the light.
This pen takes standard international ink cartridges, and a Diplomat plunger converter is available if you prefer bottled ink. The stainless steel nib is offered in extra fine, fine, medium and broad.

What comes in the box with the Aero Orange?
The pen ships in a case for three writing instruments, together with a converter, two standard international ink cartridges, and a warranty card. You can start writing with one of the cartridges straight away, and the converter is there when you want to use bottled ink instead. Diplomat bottled ink in 30 ml bottles is stocked separately.
What nib widths are available for the Aero Orange?
The stainless steel nib is available in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad. All four widths are offered on the Aero Orange, so you can match the nib to your handwriting size and preferred ink flow. Choose the width at the point of ordering, as the width is part of the item specification.
Can I use bottled ink in this pen?
Yes. The Aero Orange takes standard international ink cartridges and also works with a plunger converter for bottled ink. A Diplomat converter is included in the box. When you want bottled ink, Diplomat bottled ink in 30 ml bottles is available to order alongside the pen.
Where is the Aero Orange made?
The Diplomat Aero Orange is made in Germany at Diplomat's production site in Cunewalde, Saxony. Diplomat has produced writing instruments in Germany since 1922, and the Cunewalde facility has been the production site since 2001.
