The Lapis Blue finish gives the Esteem a rich, saturated blue across its slim cylindrical body. The polished surface keeps the color reading as one continuous field from end to end, with no pattern to interrupt it.
The Esteem is a fountain pen. It takes standard international ink cartridges and accepts a Diplomat plunger converter when you want to use bottled ink.

What ink does the Esteem Lapis Blue take, and what comes in the box?
The pen uses standard international ink cartridges. One standard international ink cartridge is included in the box, along with a three-pen case and a warranty card. When the refill runs low, the pen also accepts a Diplomat plunger converter for bottled ink, so you can use Diplomat bottled ink, 30 ml, available from Yafa.
Where is the Esteem made?
The Esteem is made in Germany at Diplomat's production site in Cunewalde, Saxony. Diplomat has produced writing instruments in Germany since 1922. Yafa Brands is the exclusive North American distributor for Diplomat.
