The fountain pen is offered two ways. The steel nib fills from a standard international ink cartridge or converter, using a blind cap at the end of the barrel that turns the converter like a piston so the barrel never has to come apart, while the 14KT gold nib is a true piston with an ink window. Choose the steel configuration if you prefer cartridge convenience; choose the 14KT if you want to fill directly from bottled ink and monitor your ink level through the window.
